i-respect, was set up by the Oak Community Development project for informal and formal mentoring and support for young people. Designed with the help of a group of Muslim young people for their peers experiencing social problems such as peer pressures to smoke, take drugs, drink, and or be involved in violence and anti-social behaviours, i-respect mentoring provides a place to receive information and guidance through discussing and debating in the forum, blogging, asking questions to our specialist mentors, or applying for some mentoring.

If you feel you can be a positive role model to a young person sharing your experience and skills whether as a young peer mentor or adult mentor then why not give something back to the community and volunteer. To find out more about what is involved check out the mentoring section of the website.
